The story of our country home
Borgo Le Lanterne was born from our dream of bringing new life to an old farmhouse in the Prosecco Hills. Once a stable and hayloft, the house still preserves its rustic soul: stone walls, exposed beams, and the wide openings typical of barns. At the same time, we reimagined every detail to combine authenticity with elegance and comfort.
This balance between rustic charm and refined design makes our retreat unique among Veneto vacation rentals. Soft natural tones, wooden accents, and romantic details give each room a timeless atmosphere. A special feature is the preserved truss chain: visible in the corridor and in La Trave room, it now serves as both memory and design.
We also love small details that tell stories — an old watering can turned into a flower pot, a handmade iron basket filled with spices, or a vintage radio cabinet that belonged to Michela’s father. These touches make Borgo Le Lanterne feel not just like accommodation, but like a real home.

Meet us
Michela, Emanuele and…
We are Michela and Emanuele, and we live right here at Borgo Le Lanterne. Michela grew up in Conegliano and spent several years working as a flight attendant, travelling the world and discovering different ways of welcoming people. Emanuele was born in Cantù, a town close to Lake Como, and began his career as a greenkeeper, cultivating a passion for nature and open spaces.
We met in 2012 during a holiday and have been inseparable ever since. After a few years in Cantù, we moved to Follina in 2018 to restore this farmhouse with our own hands. In 2024 we finally opened Borgo Le Lanterne — the same year we got married.
Living in the same structure allows us to welcome guests personally, always close by to share tips, a smile, or simply ensure you feel at home. And you will probably meet Milo, our cat, who loves the garden and enjoys greeting visitors in his own way.
